Please note that we are not an agency but a platform for language practitioners to offer their services. As such, we help you make contact with potential clients but cannot follow up on jobs and charge a job-based fee as an agency would. What does Lingoproz.co.za offer you?
- You receive enquiries from potential clients to your email address. The information provided enables you to contact the enquirers directly to negotiate the job. Enquiries are sent to a maximum of five enterprises only! Listing your enterprise on our website is free. There is only a small fixed fee for enquiries you receive. We are convinced this concept will work for you - and even offer you a free trial of five free enquiries which allows you to test it at no charge at all!
No basic charge
- There is no basic monthly fee.
- You only pay for received and serious enquiries (see fees).
- Incomplete or false enquiries can be returned without problems, you will not be charged for these, simply notify us by using the "Claim" button next to the enquiry in your user account.
Easy and secure payments with Paypal
- We will invoice you at the end of each month and provide a link for you to settle your account using Paypal, a secure payment service provider. This is a risk-free payment method regulated by financial supervisory authorities. Paypal allows you to use your debit or credit card, bank account or Paypal balance to pay. To pay an invoice, go to "My Invoices" in your user account and follow the link.
Free trial
- We offer you a free trial, no strings attached! Sign up now and the first five enquiries will be completely free. If you are satisfied with our service, you will be charged a fee per enquiry from the sixth enquiry (see fees) or you can simply stop the service by logging on to your account and de-activating or deleting your profile. You're in control!
Full control with user accounts
- You edit your profile and the information presented to enquirers at your convenience.
- You indicate the types of services and language combinations you wish to offer and the regions in which they are available.
- You deactivate and re-activate your profile at any time, e.g. if you are on holiday or simply snowed under with work.
- You can even enhance your profile with your logo.
No minimum contract term
- You can cancel the contract and delete your profile at any time without notice, providing your account has been settled.
Feedback points
- After completing a job successfully, your client can award you feedback points. Feedback points indicate trustworthiness and quality of work. They will be visible to future potential clients in the search results. Collect feedback points to stand out from competitors and draw more enquiries towards you!

Our terminology forum:
In our forums section you will find a forum for each language to discuss any questions you may have concerning terminology, grammar, idioms, culture etc. For example, if you are in the middle of a translation and get stuck for one tricky word - post it on the forum to ask your colleagues for help. Before you post a question though, use the search function to check if your term might already have been discussed in an old entry. That way the forums in time will also function as advanced dictionaries.
The user control panel in the forum allows you to subscribe to your preferred forums which means you can be notified when a colleague needs your help. You can also add information about yourself and your language skills in your profile to back the advice you give. As always with Lingoproz, you have full control and can edit all your personal details as you wish.
