Lingoproz is committed to bringing you information tailored to your individual needs and recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about our users. We respect your privacy and aim to protect it. We will therefore protect information transmitted to us as best we can and only use it for the purpose described. This message relates to all information that is gathered and made available on Lingoproz.co.za.
We do not work with unsolicited contacting. All emails generated by this website result from the user's initiative (e.g. information on registration, confirmation of an enquiry or, if necessary, request for statement on quality of participating companies). PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION COLLECTED BY LINGOPROZ
Lingoproz collects information in several ways. Some personal information - such as name and email address - is gathered when you register for our services.
When you are in a section of Lingoproz and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Lingoproz, its divisions and/or its third party service providers unless it is specifically stated otherwise.
Promotions that run on Lingoproz may be sponsored by companies other than Lingoproz or may be co-sponsored by Lingoproz and another company. Some or all data collected during a promotion may be shared with the sponsor.
Please be aware that Lingoproz advertisers or websites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those websites are not covered by this privacy statement.
SHARED DATA
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

Lingoproz shall at all times comply with applicable legislations and will therefore reserve the right to refuse registration to any individual or organisation if such registration contravenes the law. However, Lingoproz affirms that no unreasonable restrictions will be imposed. Lingoproz will make all attempts to give prior warning of such action, whenever and wherever possible.
POLICIES FOR INDIVIDUALS UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE
Lingoproz encourages parents, teachers and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate in the activities offered on the sites. No information should be submitted to or posted at Lingoproz by users under 13 years of age without the consent of their parent, teacher or guardian.
SECURITY
The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our users is of utmost concern to us. We exercise great care in providing secure transmission of your information from your PC to our servers. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, Lingoproz cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
DATA RETENTION
Lingoproz will not retain your personal information longer than is necessary for the purpose it was collected.
REQUEST TO REMOVE DETAILS FROM THE DATABASE
The user accounts enable you to change or remove data as you wish. Alternatively, please send the following details to info [at] lingoproz.co.za: your name, your email address, any changes to be made. You can also use the contact form. We will send you a confirmation email, and when this is replied to your details will be changed or permanently removed from the site as requested.
RECOMMENDATIONS
If a member chooses to use the Lingoproz referral service to inform a friend about the site, he or she is asked to enter the friend's email address. Lingoproz will automatically send the friend (visible to the inviter prior to sending) a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Lingoproz does not store this email address and information added to the recommendation.
OWNERSHIP
Information and content on Lingoproz may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without Lingoproz' prior written permission.
NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our home page so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under which circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Additions to Lingoproz' Privacy Policy or revised sections will be highlighted in italics and a date.
GOVERNING LAW
This Privacy Policy and the use of this site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles. Any claim related to the site or to this privacy statement shall be brought before a local court in the Republic of Seychelles, within one year after the claim arises. Users of Lingoproz.co.za consent to the jurisdiction of such court as the most convenient and appropriate for the resolution of disputes concerning this Privacy Policy.
